It was nice and clean and the staff were quite welcoming. Location is close to the restaurants and a few minutes walk to the Jetty.. Just wish the location at the time of booking didn't say "on the Beach".. Its not on the beach but u might get a few decent views of the ocean depending upon your room level.

Amazing views from balcony and hot tub.. made for a great kids free, couple's weekend.. we'll definitely be looking at the observatory apartments again for a weekend getaway..
Recently redecorated, well appointed, centrally located apartment that was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Bit of a misnomer, in a holiday apartment you'd expect your own laundry, but it's nice to have a clean room with a view. However we couldn't get into our parking spot and the stairs were a killer. Sally the bed was so soft it was like quicksand and not good for our aching backs. Right next to the train station so might be a good place for young backpackers.
Great holiday apartments in Coffs Harbour. We are visiting them second year in a row which shows how much we like them. Close to the jetty and shopping centre as well as the train station. A great location for a holiday stay in Coffs.
Didnt have an option to choose 0 out of 5. Very much disappointed with their service. There was no room service at all and also not mentioned anywhere. There was no elevator, no dishwasher, no laundry. We had to pay 4 dollars for every wash and 4 dollars for the drying. They don't replace the towels or provide toiletries. They asked us to use the same which was very very disappointing. We had to wash the towels at our own expense, as our stay was for 3nights. They didn't even kept a scrub to wash the utensils. I surely won't recommend this place to anyone. The rooms hardly had light to come through and was quite upsetting.

We stayed for three nights and experience was bad. Rooms are not upto the mark for the price you pay, very much outdated ones. Tiles were sticky and very old. No dishwashers in the room and no scrub either. Tea, Coffee, Sugar are not replenished and you would have to use what you are given on the day you check in (very limited stocks). Expect to use the same towels everyday if your stay is less than 7 nights. We were told the expectation from guests is to wash these towels and dry it and reuse. If you think that you get a washing machine and dryer to do this then you are mistaken. There are common washing machines and dryer for the guests to use and you would have to spend extra money to wash these towels and dry it. The laundry rooms are available untill 9pm and as a tourist , I finish my dinner and plan to get back only by 10pm. To put it in one sentence I ended up paying 300 dollars per night for 3 nights to do daily chores and did not find it as a holiday. I would not recommend this to anyone who plan to spend quality time with their family. Its overpriced for the serivce and comfort. Customer should be told that these would be the expectation. I would not have booked this if I had any idea.
