Staff at Moreland Council are the worse. No customer service. Looks like anyone can get a job these days without any qualifications. I've been trying to follow up with one of the officers regarding my local law fine with no success. Now I copped a hefty fine due to their incompetencies. My advise to everyone is to record every conversation with them.
Useless is one word I'd use to describe Moreland city council. Found an abandoned baby ferrett in an organics bin and asked for their assistance in locating a suitable animal shelter or even ferrett rescue, told me to call wild life rescue, a ferrett is not a wild animal and even then they didn't even bother to provide a contact number, they simply couldn't care less. In the past they have been very slow to respond to issues regarding nature strip tree growth, dumped rubbish, guttering damage etc. Don't know what my rates are going towards because it's certainly not for their customer service.
Trying to get in touch with Grace, councils Kindergarten Enrolment Officer for few days now, left messages, called several times and still nothing. I work full time and now i have to take 1/2 day off to go and enquire trough front desk as they are open 10am - 3pm only. Typical Council bureaucracy
Worst council ever. Officer driving handfree to take a photo for parking on your own driveway in your own house for a few minute for mowing the lawn on the public holiday. They are surely making every efforts to make money through fine including breaking law, protientally hitting the kids across the road in the residential area without looking on the road! They can simply just told us to move the car as car was not unattended. But guess what they just want to find every opportunity to make money even at the cost of putting other's lives in danger! Extremely disgusting! Absolutely outraged! Shame on you!
Zero stars. Never any parking In the evening. Multiple requests for designated permit parking for residents ignored. I have to fight for a car park. I would circle the block multiple times and sometimes just sit in my car for 20 mins waiting. I’d have to move my car in the middle of the night. Tonight I waited until 2:15am to move my car because bar patrons have taken up all the parking. There was a spot at 12:15am but someone took it before I even put on my shoes. So I waited for this chick to finish clubbing before I can take her spot. Greedy council charging 2600 in rates to service no one but themselves.
A front desk lady by the name Nina doesnt want to listen to anyone and keeps cutting you off and if you tell her please listen to what I am saying, she will hang up on you. Shameful service!
With hardly any car parking at Sydney rd and queues outside the door (see La mama) , Moreland city council has their parking inspectors out working overtime - trying to kill the shopping strip it’s famous for - great our rates at work , happy Christmas , shame on you Moreland
