I saw Dr Peter Ragg at City Family Practice several times and his manner was unprofessional and contemptuous. his blatant body language was disdainful, like he thought I was wasting her time, and that he despised me. I felt that this was a breach of trust. I felt demoralised by his treatment and the unprofessional behaviour by another doctor at City Family Practice, i had to also waste 90 minutes of my time only to find out that peter was unavailable. very unprofessional.

Dr Peter Ragg has been our family doctor for 20 years. If you want a Dr who kicks you out of his room after 15 minutes and just dismisses your concerns then Dr Ragg is not for you. He listens, he cares and is upfront with explanations and reassurances. He is so very knowledgeable and we would not go to anyone else. Ring half an hour before your appt to see if the appointments are running on time (no phones are answered between 1-2pm) and you may still have to wait a little bit but Dr’s with his expertise, empathy and genuine consistent care are hard to come by and well worth waiting for!
I saw Dr Caroline Ahern at City Family Practice several times and her manner was unprofessional and contemptuous. Her blatant body language was disdainful, like she thought I was wasting her time, and that she despised me. Her facebook also popped up in the 'People you may know' list, so I knew that she had stalked me. I felt that this was a breach of trust. I felt demoralised by her treatment and the unprofessional behaviour by another doctor at City Family Practice, as below, so I had to find a new practice to attend. I saw Dr Peter Ragg a few times and he treated me with an unprofessional, contemptuous, condescending and disrespectful manner. I'm a grown woman and mother but he treated me like a child, taking hold of my hand on one occasion, and displaying a lack of respect in his tone that time and during other appointments. He was dismissive and disbelieving about my symptoms and a previous diagnosis from another practice, although I provided the proof of diagnosis. He incredulously questioned me as to who made the diagnosis in his determination to deny its validity. He did not take me seriously at all. One time he walked past me in the waiting room as I waited to see another doctor after I'd stopped seeing him, and when he saw me he stared at me like I had two heads. In addition to the disrespectful treatment from Dr Ahern, I never went back there again. Utterly unprofessional, unwelcoming doctors at this practice.
Dr Ahern is fantastic - couldn't ask for a better GP.
I would highly recommend this practice. Dr Peter Ragg is a very attentive, patient and welcoming doctor. He takes care in providing you with an explanation and is very reassuring.

Absolutely disgusted, no consideration for patient confidentiality, I was asked to complete a form, upon entering my consultation the form was taken from me and held by reception to finish completing after I seen the doctor, when I asked for the form back to finish reception staff had completely misplaced it, 3 pages including sensitive information about myself, all contact details and my signature. When I expressed that I felt upset they had not taken more care of documents with my confidential information on them, I was told I never filled out a form and was asked to leave. So unprofessional, a complete waste of time and money.
Dedicated, friendly and super-thorough team. I have been seeing Dr Helen Caulton for years, love her. I have also seen two other Drs when Helen has been away and they've been similarly great to deal with. The reception staff are wonderful, too. Highly recommend!
