On the day we hired the equipment the staff were welcoming and helpful and the younger staff member was very informative about how to use the equipment. When we returned the equipment we were treated terribly by John the Manager who accused me of denting his stage, (there was no dent). That I'd lost his microphone covers, (there were no microphone covers) which the younger staff member confirmed. That the cords weren't rolled up 'correctly', to which I explained to him that no one showed us how to roll up the cords 'your way' on Saturday, so rather than bending wires the wrong way it was better to keep them loose. He told me I obviously didn't read his text. I replied I did it said to return them by 12pm on Monday, we were there before he opened. He said that I 'left music in the speakers', and then played some horrendous music and said 'see that's the music you were playing." I said, 'No it definitely was not'. He said I forgot a cord, then the younger staff member came over and corrected him and said all the cords were there. The manager then turned to me and said, 'If you had rolled up the cords, then I would have been able to see that they were all there.' Just because you took our money happily on the day of rental, doesn't mean you can treat your customers badly on the return of the goods. We would have been repeating customers and were considering buying the equipment. NOT ANY MORE. We will take our business somewhere else. Thankyou to the younger staff member who was very helpful and courteous.
The place looks a bit daunting, but don't let that put you off. They have great service they run the shop in a proper manner. I hired some DJ equipment here and had no trouble. Everything was tested in front of me before hand-over and tested again upon return.
Prices are okay and the staff are helpful and polite.
Great service and nice people, John and staff always ready and willing to help you out with any of your needs and are really easy going. Got exactly what I needed and will be returning in future if ever need their services again.
