Just moved back from living overseas for 3 years and do not have a regular doctor. I came down with gastro for 7 days, came into the doctor a week later once I finally stopped spewing. Asked for a medical certificate to provide my brand new employer which they denied me because they "don't know me" - where is your compassion for humans. I'm sure if I went into a paid clinic and was 80 out of pocket they would give me one.

There Dr's English was poor so I was unable to understand what he was telling me, I was completely misinformed about what I was being tested/treated for and had to have a friend in medical school look at the referral and tell me what it actually meant which turned out to be far more serious than what I thought. Not a great experience to have to go to a student for advice on what I couldn't understand from a professional. The wait is huge and in future I would appreciate not having to ask for a bag for 2 urine sample cups, maybe stock some? They aren't the kind of thing I want to walk down the street holding. The only bag in the whole office was a tiny, plastic grocery bag stuffed in the back of a draw that just happened to be there. I'll be going to the non-bulk billed Brisbane City Doctors up the road from now on.

This has always just been a easy to get to and bulk billing practice for me. Nothing special, just a medical need for very regular visits. Sometimes striking it lucky with the right doctor. Drs Stephanie and Katie are lovely female doctors. Dr Welson Jao though is my favorite. Not from the start but after needed visits and availability I've found him to be the best. He knows how to talk to you and comes from a human basis. He gives me acupuncture every week for my knees. All bulk billed. He's informative and doesn't make me feel bad for being overweight.I recommend him highly. As an addition the receptionist there is also lovely and bubbly. Has been since I first went there three years ago.

Dr Welson Jao has treated me with acupuncture for over 3 months. He has put considerable efforts in helping me to manage the pain so that I could continue to work during this period. He has extraordinary patience and compassion with a great level of professionalism towards his patients. Couldn’t expect more from a doctor, highly recommended!

Dr WELSON JAO is the best doctor in Brisbane. He is very sincere and kind with every patient and gives his best regardless if he is busy. He is so welcoming and such a genuine person. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Welson.
