Every now and then you go shopping and have a great experience. Well shopping at Computer Care was such an experience. Firstly their web site had useful info that helped me select the capacity I needed my compressor to have. When I visited their shop Justin could not have been more helpful. So good to talk to someone who knows their product, has industry experience and is prepared to share that information with you. Thanks and much appreciated.
Terrible after sales service. Justin's business worked on my machine and guaranteed it would run along reliably and do the work I need it to do. Two weeks into normal operation and the motor that had apparently had a 'complete overhaul' stops working and won't start in the middle of fitting 6 grader tyres. Justin's response to this was "there's nothing I can do for you mate because I sacked Marty and he's the only one who knew about the Honda motors, I work on three-phase." I'll be taking it to QCAT and getting the 1300 he robbed me of. Avoid this business at all costs.
I’ve had great service in fancy restaurants and high-end hotels but Marty from Compressor Care (of all places) delivered the most genuine and attentive service I’ve ever experienced. I just wanted some insignificant pressure switch cover for my old compressor and even though it was a tiny sale, Marty was polite, helpful, informative and knowledgeable. He draws on a huge wealth of experience with compressors. A very smart man- and very honest! When I bragged to some friends about Compressor Care one said “I know that place, my old man’s been going there for decades.”
Poor service and bad quality workmanship please avoid this business at all cost!
On the 28/05/2019 I phoned compressor Care in regard to a Royce RC10/50TW, 10amp Direct Drive Air Compressor I had purchased from them in 2012. This compressor had failed to turn on. The Compressor care employee told me to bring it in and they would look at it. I dropped the machine into them the next morning, they rang me 4 hours later to say that the machine was repaired and ready to be picked up. I really thought the machine would unrepairable. I picked the machine up today, 30/05/2019. I’m so pleased and happy with the service from Compressor Care I will have no hesitation in recommending this company in the future. Thank You all Compressor Care employees!
Justin was prompt and very efficient in diagnosing our compressor problem. He had all the parts on board and we were up and running in no time at all . Great service, Great Rates.
All hail Lord Compressor Care. Gods gift to compressors, who came out of the womb with infinite compressor wisdom. Never having to ask a question like us mere mortals who seek to recklessly delve into the ancient fine art of basic compressor service. May Sir Knows-A-Lot live on forever so he can continue to banish the evil customer to the dunce corner and protect our precious and beloved compressors from their dangerously uneducated tinkering. Seriously though, I'd say worst customer service I've encountered, but I wouldn't call it a service to be insulted. I assume they do amazing work by the way this guy implies that he's the only one on the planet qualified to work on a compressor, so don't dare ask to buy any of the parts they have for sale or he'll make you regret it. If he's as good as he says he is, he should stay out the back where he probably knows what he's doing because he sure as hell doesn't know a thing about customer service. Or if he doesn't want to sell parts, then he should politely say so instead of rudely telling customers they wont be capable of a simple repair. I've never been compelled to write a poor Google review as I don't want to negatively impact a small business, but judging by the similar reviews about their customer service, and similar stories I hear from locals, I'm more concerned about saving others the humiliation of shopping here. I wish I never had because I have my doubts I'll be able to wipe the experience from my memory
