Branxton Station is a 2-Platform Station located on the Hunter Line. It is serviced by NSW TrainLink Services to Maitland and Newcastle Interchange, however, these are very infrequent. The station usually sees Coal Traffic passing through as well as Grain and the occasional Containerised Freight. The Armidale/Moree Xplorer also passes this station but DOES NOT STOP. From a Train Spotting Point of View, this is a very good station if you put the infrequency aside. The Entrance to the Branch Line that leads to the Rothbury Riot Railway Museum can also be found here.

Branxton Railway Station is a non-staffed railway station, with one platform as wheelchair accessibility. There are passenger services that operate into Branxton Station but they are not too common.. nice station.
