Chocolate Rocks

If we could give Riverside Cottages more than 5 stars, we would. We stayed in Cottage 1, which was divine – it had a gorgeous main bedroom, kitchenette, dining table, bunk beds, TV, lounge. It had everything we needed, and was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The cottage is right on Bellingen River, and the view of the water from Cottage 1 is stunning. The sprawling grounds are so peaceful and spectacular. Although the cottages are located close to Bellingen centre, you can also just unwind in this oasis, being serenaded by the birds. Marg, the owner, is absolutely lovely and super friendly. She made us feel welcome and at home, and was so giving of her time and advice. If you want to be close to the heart of Bellingen while enjoying the spoils of a natural sanctuary hideaway, we highly recommend Riverside Cottages. And if you have a dog, it’s perfect. Not only is it dog friendly, it’s a dog’s PARADISE, with so much beautiful, expansive space to pee on! ;) Cindy

Such a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The cottages are gorgeous with beautiful views of the Bellingen river. Marg and John are so friendly, helpful and responsive. Would 100% recommend!

The very best of Bellingen. Secluded, lush, romantic hideaway just outside of town. We stayed in Cottage 3 which was spacious and beautifully appointed right down to the last detail. The double bed was super comfy and the view over the river and nearby farms.... WOW. They even made us up a welcome pack and adorned the cottage with Christmas decorations.
