Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVic) advocate for young people and represent the youth sector to uphold the rights of all young Victorians. Our vision is that young Victorians have their rights upheld and are valued as active participants in their communities. We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation. Our core funding comes from the Victorian Government's Office for Youth. YACVic is governed by a volunteer board that always includes four young people under the age of 26. A paid staff administer day-to-day YACVic operations and we offer young members the opportunity to be involved directly and meaningfully our work. Our Policy Advisory Group (PAG) is our main advisory mechanism.
