Great little family-run orchard with over 30 different species of cherry trees. The quality and size of the fruit was so good that I found it hard to stop picking. We also got a much needed rundown of how to pick the cherries by a lady who was an absolute crack-up - absolutely made our day! Looking forward to returning for cherry season next year.

I have been to many cherry farms and this one didn’t seem quite right to me. If you visit this cherry farm, you’ll need to grab a bucket for every 2 people. If you didn’t fill the buckets, you’ll still need to pay 50 each, if you fill them then they charge you by kg. We were 4 people and we had to grab bucket even tho we didn’t want to because it was not necessary. Well have to pay even if we didn’t pick anything so we picked cherries. We picked 2 bucket full and it was around 10kg so it costed us 100. We ended up sharing with family and friends. This farm should Just charge people entry fees then people can go in and enjoy. If they picked any, they only need to pay for them. Never going here again.

Rude staff , will never come back here again! Asked for the cherries to be packed in the box and they only gave us one box! Didnt explain to us that we couldnt use the box if we used the plastic bags. When we first came in , no one greeted us or showed us where to go. Better off going to other farm next year as obviously you guys didnt welcome us (:

Very rude, impolite staff. We are a group of 12 people travelling from Sydney we directly asked on the phone couple days ago do you need to book and pay entry the person on the phone says no but when we arrive the terrible staff was very rude and say the place is closed and your not welcome on our property, I was about to have a screaming match with the staff totally inappropriate. Don’t ever waste your time drive up and go there, go to Wombat Orchard and Ballinaclash Wines and Fruit they are very friendly. Reply: Your staff were rude to us this is not how you treat your customer first time in Young travelling from Sydney, we are a group of 60 years old you don’t kick us out by saying get off our property, our property is closed while other arrive, we called a week ago to ask if you need to book you said no, there’s no surprise to find there is people complaint says rude stuff here, I’m thinking to make complaint further to Young Shire Council. We have never been treated this way. After this experience we had went to other Orchard without an issue and brought so many boxes of Cherries. We will never recommend our hundreds of family friends to this place. We first recommended by one of my work colleagues saying the Cherry are nice. Very disappointed have to treat your customer this way.
