I have been practicing and learning yoga at Yoga Mandir for years. The teachers are some of, if not,THE best in Canberra. Highly, highly recommend.

Surprised my wife with a trip to the Yoga Mandir and she was extremely satisfied. Happy Wife, Happy Life!
After attending a workshop with Alan in Perth I signed up for his remote study group as in live in a somewhat rural area. The course material was incredible, this along with everything I learnt at the workshop has helped me to build a personal practice and reinvigorate my practice and passion for yoga. Great value and very affordable, I would highly recommend joining the remote study group for anyone who is not in Canberra. Thanks Alan.
If you are ready to learn the art and subject of yoga then Yoga Mandir is the place for you. Knowing you will always be in safe, educated hands, this space provides an environment to begin a yoga practice and then continue that journey right through to becoming a yoga teacher. Committed, dedicated yoga teachers who love what they do.
I've been attending since 2005 and have not only been taught Yoga in classes but given the tools to develop a daily home practice. Students are also encouraged to apply traditional Yoga philosophy in their practice. This way of action and application has positively transformed my life in gradual and subtle ways. Yoga Mandir is transformative.
Yoga Mandir offers a really good range of classes for beginners through to more experienced yoga practitioners. There are early morning dynamic classes, evening classes and one week intensives to suit all levels of experience. I highly recommend Yoga Mandir.
A serious and thorough yoga school that can take you further in your practice. Very experienced teachers and dedicated students. One of the great attractions of Canberra for me.
Dear Yoga Mandir, Just a short message from Rishikesh-the home of yoga. I'm lucky to be back in India staying in this beautiful town doing the most radical of things in our society-NOTHING !!!! but sitting and watching the Ganges flow past. It seems that every second place I pass is offering 200hr teacher training courses. I've met students taking these courses who don't seem particularly happy. When I tell them that to qualify as an iyengar yoga teacher you need a minimum of three years ,I get looks of mortification. One student actually replied "but I'm 28!!!" So I'm very happy attending Yoga Mandir because I know that the teachers have gone through a rigorous process, have committed A LOT OF TIME and SACRIFICED PLENTY. My advice therefore to students who struggle like me -is to remember that GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME.
