Nice refurbishment and layout compared to how Wynyard station looked before. Plenty of amenities. Not the most idyllic place during 30 degree heat in summer.

Since renovations Wynyard station is now world class with great access points, clear signage and even art installations. Always clean and very friendly staff to be found everywhere assisting people with their journey.

Well lit. Spacious. Video walls. Clean. Though squatting may pause a problem.

Very busy. Good for navigation and the other things

Presently undergoing major refurbishment, this very busy station is well laid out, has clear announcements and departure boards. Designed by JJC Bradfield, Chief Engineer of NSW Railways, and constructed by the NSW Department of Public Works, the station opened on 28 February 1932, coinciding with the opening of the Harbour Bridge. There are four platforms over two levels.

Don't put cash in the vending machine. It will take it and not give you anything. It took my money and said "insert exact change" then when I cancelled the sale, it reset to beginning.

Really nice station since the massive makeover. Lots more room and double the number of gates. Very creative use of the old wooden escalators as a beautiful work of art.

I love the new Wynyard! Beautiful new building with great architecture and design details. So glad they kept the wooden escalators as a very cool installation just above where they used to be installed. Also the tunnel to Barangaroo is definitely worth the walk, great architecture and a very pleasant/efficient way of getting to Kent Street and Barangaroo.
