We hired a moving truck on the 30/01/2021, we got there at 9.00 and no one was there. After many calls someone arrived at 10.30, the truck wasn’t ready and we had to wait another half hour while they got it ready. Now that the truck has been returned the won’t give our bond back saying that we were informed that the bond would be held for 30 working days which we were not. I will never use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

We roadtripped around Tasmania for about 7 days. We rented the pick up truck with the two tents on top. Car was set up nicely and getting through the process was smooth. No problems during the whole trip. (Note: with renting the truck, when you back up the car makes a loud beeping noise for warning, no problems except when you arrive somewhere late at night and have to fix parking). Otherwise, it was an awesome trip with my 3 other sisters!
Uncomplicated booking. Quick but appropriate van handover and return. Reasonable vans for really good prices. I had a really good experience and I'll be happy to come back again.
Avoid - appalling company. We're still chasing our deposit payment made over 2 months ago. They also need to pay us back the money we had to spend on fixing the car during our rental, as it was an old and battered vehicle (you pay the same for your rental, regardless of the state of the vehicles they have available). Ours hadn't even been cleaned properly, it was dirty and we found about a dozen razors and blood pressure medication in the seat pockets. Their customer service is inexistent, so if you have a problem with your booking, or try to get your money back, tough luck.
Customer service shocking. I booked in a pick up for 10am and didn't get seen until 11.20am as they just had a bunch of other people waiting and one rep. This is after calling and emailing with questions about the van and nobody being able to answer my simple questions. Way overpriced for what was an old, slow, basic & smelly van with several components not working. Cost me 130 per day 800 bond. Mattresses are truly disgusting, old, mouldy and filthy. No GPS, no Bluetooth, no fan etc. Very basic and uncomfortable. Still waiting on my bond refund (even though I was told it would be 5 business days).
I hired an XTrail in Adelaide to drive the Oodnadatta track. The tent on top was great and very warm even when it was near freezing outside at night. The built in mattress is quite thin, but fine if you're used to camping mats. The booking and check-in was really easy, as was returning the vehicle. The kit that was included was really good. We didn't use the cooking gear, but the table and chairs were a really useful. I would definitely recommend Wicked to my friends.
