We had an old gas fire removed. I wanted a natural wood burning fire. Woodpecker spent a great deal of time and effort to find the best product that would fit our awkward fireplace and chimney and make it look as attractive as possible. Together we came up with the results. The communication was excellent and in a timely manner. The installation went smoothly and finished product was excellent. It was not an easy job but the technicians worked very hard and showed patience and persistence. We are very happy with the service and the finished product.

I was quoted 275 for a service and in the fine print of an email it said if it took over an hour I’d be charged extra. Ended up paying 375 just for the service, no repairs and then the heater had the same problem 3 months later and was quoted 220 labour to come and fix. When I spoke to the technician directly he said I needed a whole new part which would have cost me 200 plus 320 for labour. I called Illusion and their service is 325 flat rate and the guarantee the works for a year and that to come and fix the heater was only 100 for labour and 10 for a part. So instead of 520 with Woodpecker it was 110. If I had of gone with Illusion in the first place it would have been fixed properly the first time and guaranteed and a total cost of 325. Lesson learnt. Very disappointed with extreme overcharging and not clearly outlining costs. The tech was rude also. Illusion took 15 minutes to fix it and have not had an issue since. So for a 15minute fix Woodpecker wanted 320 just for over an hours worth of work \u200d️ This is my first negative review ever. I emailed my concerns and never got a response. The girl on the phone was delightful but that’s the only positive.

Both the Sales and Installation Team were fantastic, we purchased the Escea frameless heater and it is fantastic. The Installation Team were great with work completed with the times advised and they cleaned up and took away the old heater which was great too. Thoroughly recommend. Pictures before and after and what a difference.
