Dr Basheer was my obstetrician when deliverying my first baby She is a great doctor , I ended up doing a c-section as my baby was breach, the surgery went so well, no side effects No complecstions , and I can burly see the scar, everything was well organized. She came and checked on me every day after the surgery, and made sure that the baby and I are well. She is a very caring doctor, I’m pregnant with my second now , and definitely going with her :)

One of the best doctors in Wollongong,me and my whole family have been going to her for years, she has done an amazing job with my laparoscopy and I’m feeling way better and pain free thanks to dr Basheer, she is caring, kind and generous and we are so lucky to have her in our community.

I would not recommend this doctor at all. As a private patient, I was told at 32 weeks pregnant she wanted to induce me at 37 weeks because she was going on an overseas holiday for a month - not because of any medical reasons. There were also many other issues leading up to this, so I changed doctors.

Dr Basheer, was absolutely fantastic! Her level of detail and compassion was excellent, greater then we imagined. Being one of her high risk patients due to my age (47) I was treated with the utmost concern and care. Dr Basheer was determined to ensure my pregnancy and delivery went well. I would not hesitate recommending Dr Basheer to anyone and would certainly inform you that you will be very well cared for. We delivered a happy, healthy, calm and peaceful baby on 19th July 2019. We actually miss Dr Basheer and our weekly visits. She truly is a remarkable obstetrician. She has a deep understanding and knowledge about her profession and shares it with you along your journey.

Interesting appointment, she ended up just showing me pictures of her last holiday and then talking about religion. The only advice I was given was to have 5 baths for 30 minutes with Epsom salt everyday to relieve pain. 1 it's a waste of water and 2 who has time for that. She diagnosed me with just painful periods and to come back in 1 month to see how I was going. No thanks. I suspect I have endometriosis, I was just brushed off and endometriosis is a serious lifelong painful condition. Dr Basher did not take me seriously at all even just said try for a baby which is not a guaranteed solution. After consulting another gynecologist I am now going for a diagnostic laproscopy and removal of endometriosis in Oct. I wasted my time and money going to Dr Basheer. She is nice but not really with the times with endometriosis or any other servere conditions. UPDATE: I do have Endometriosis I had stage 2/3 all over my bowel and pelvic wall! I just had it excisioned, if Dr Tahrir Basheer was not confident in a laproscopy like she stated she hates doing them she should have referred me to someone else who was!

I was so excited after seeing Dr Basheer ,finally a Dr now's the answers she had so much information and she took the time to make sure I understood. I've been suffering for 7 years, I may take time to get better but at least I know now what's wrong and have a good plan to recover . My confidence has returned in trusting a Dr again.

Absolutely the rudest doctor on the planet. Openly despised my grandaughter for being noncompliant (she is severely autistic) and went out of her way to be disgustingly obnoxious. Would not recommend

Dr Basheer is the BEST Obstetrician in Wollongong, she is one of the most caring, kind, compassionate people I have ever met. Our first baby was ectopic and she was an amazing advocate for me, informing judgemental nurses that I was grieving the loss of my little babe. After a year of appointments and care we fell pregnant with our son and she was nothing but professional and exceptional throughout our pregnancy and through the delivery which is why in Feb this year we went through her once again for our second son. If you are looking for an AMAZING OB you have come to the right person! I wouldn't go anywhere else!
