Enough said about this place, it's ethics and morals. I would rate it zero stars if I could. The managing director is corrupt in multiple ways. Seems like she is unprofessional with clients and staff. Certainly will not be returning after finding the below on google: "A psychologist has been reprimanded by the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (the tribunal) for failing to maintain professional boundaries. The Psychology Board of Australia (the Board) referred Ms Vivian Jarrett to the the tribunal in August 2012 alleging she had failed to establish and maintain a consistent and appropriate therapeutic frame1, maintain professional boundaries and adequate records. The allegations made by the Board related to Ms Jarrett’s treatment of a patient between 10 June 2008 and 8 January 2009. The psychologist admitted to the allegation of poor record keeping , which constituted unsatisfactory professional conduct. The tribunal stated that Ms Jarrett did not maintain appropriate boundaries and that her conduct was of a lesser standard than that expected of her by her professional peers and the public. The tribunal added that this also demonstrated a lack of judgement in the practice of her profession. In making its findings the tribunal stated that Ms Jarrett had failed to maintain professional boundaries by making personal disclosures in the context of a pattern of emails revealing that her patient was becoming attached to her. Personal disclosures included matters concerning her own past experiences in therapy, day-to-day matters such as domestic chores and other highly personal matters. The Board had sought to impose conditions on Ms Jarrett’s registration requiring her to undertake education courses in relation to professional boundaries and the treatment of patients who exhibit symptoms of trauma and/or complex trauma and enter into a supervisiory relationship for the treatment of certain patients.."

This is merely my feedback after reading the information on the website and it was enough for me. I am literally stunned by what I have read...incorrect information, claims that cannot be substantiated and very high rates for almost every psychologist listed. I am amazed by this paragraph, taken straight from the website: "Do I need a referral to see a psychologist? No referral is needed if you are using cash or private health. Many people do require us to provide services without a referral. Mental health referrals are listed as a “pre-existing condition” once you have one. Many highly skilled jobs require you to discuss your past “treatments” and having a referral for a mental condition is not beneficial for those wanting to avoid such issues. Yes children who have mental health referrals do have to list this in interviews when they get older. Yes, it prevents accessing some jobs. There are ways to get around this problem, but the Director can explain this in a free check up." So a 'mental health REFERRAL is considered a 'pre-existing condition'????? Unbelievable claim! IF someone was going for a 'highly skilled job' (and I myself work in such a job), then that person's medical records would need to be legally subpoenaed in order for any business organisation to discover you had been given a REFERRAL!! This is totally false and sadly will potentially lead to more people not seeking help. The way many parts of your website are written are just awful...condescending at best and I'm not sure why there needs to be multiple mentions of being a 'finalist' in the Telstra Business Awards from 4 years ago??? There is no way I would ever book an appointment with either Vision or M1, based on the false claims you've written on your website. This is sad as I am guessing there area probably some very ethical psychologists working at both clinics, but I just cannot get past the badly written info on both websites.

Worse clinic I have ever been to. Absolutely HORRIBLE in every way. From the moment I walked in, I had negative vibes about the place. From the pungent smell, to the stark 1970's orange and purple eye sore Vision logo, to the receptionst, to the psychologist. The receptionist was really rude and difficult. They demanded upfront payment for my sessions and bullied me into paying them BEFORE I attended the session. The therapist, Jan- was average and kept looking at the clock, hardly helpful and just wanted me out the room. Not worth your buck. Go get a mental health care plan from your gp and find a bulk billing psychologist elsewhere. Also, whoever has done the interior designing and decorating of the place really needs to do a professional interior designing course. Really old, run down and cringeworthy set up. I found that part quite amusing. Felt like I was in a 70's movie set up. The place also smelt and that was it for me! Never returning again. Seeing all the other reviews, it's apparent this place is just a money making machine with really worn out and desperate psychologists with a vindictive management set up.

Hi there Hello

had an emotional health check up with the practice director, vivian may ling jarrett. she was so condescing and money hungry and trying to rip me off. she was speaking so fast, i think she was having manic episode of bipolar. and trust me i know from personal experience what that looks like. they dont care about the patients, its just about money.

I had really high hopes. However, after 2 sessions with Nenand I felt more anxious then I had before seeing him. He is a wonderful person, a would make a wonderful mentor. I didn't pay to listen to him speak about himself for most of the sessions and then be told that I was too analytical and that I ask too many questions. Incredibly unprofessional to say that to a vulnerable person when you're meant to be a social worker that focuses on mental health. So I would not recommend going to this practice, particularly this employee.
