I was in an odd part of town, so went to this pharmacy out of convenience. I was charged over 20 to fill out my prescription, which seemed really expensive as I had had similar scripts in the past that were about 1/2 of that amount. I had asked for the generic brand of medication. I did some googling and found the same medication advertised by several other chemists for 9. I called the pharmacy who apologised for the overcharge and agreed to refund me, which is great, but meant I had to travel all the way back there to rectify the mistake. Plus, if I hadn't realised, and then not had the courage, ability etc to confront the mistake, I would've wound up paying more than double the cost for some necessary medicine.
