I would like to Thank Martini at Klapp Audio Visual for providing fantastic service resolving an issue with a Turntable I purchased from a private seller recently. Not only is Martini technically brilliant at diagnosing issues, he provides super efficient and practical advice when using and listening to top audio models in the home. As a teenager who attended school in the area some 15 years ago I walked past the Klapp Audio Store everyday. The years of experience of this store is super outstanding. This store is an icon in Melbourne. I cannot recommend Martini's expertise enough. Music is Life. And Martini's store is the best in the business. Thanks, Sally

5 stars for Martini and my experience buying over the phone from Sydney but a generous 3 for the person I spoke to on 23/3/21. Actually make it 2. I called to enquire about whether using a balanced cable could improve my experience with my Klipsch hp3 headphones and heritage amp. Received a disinterested reply telling me that it probably wont make a difference to an inexperienced ear and when I asked about availability and prices for cables should I choose to experiment I was met with nothing more than we have nothing available. My apologies for such a small request I thought. Ok, no worries I said and before I could ask another question the salesperson was ready to move on and hanging up. Not being one to take poor customer service lightly, I interrupted his goodbye asked if I might be permitted to ask another question or was that too much trouble for him. At this point, I was a lost customer but couldn't let him go without a little push. Mr salesperson sir, I am considering these book shelf speakers which you stock vs these and would like your opinion to which I received a brief reply stating that we don't stock speaker 2 and that speaker 1 which we do have is bettered by speaker 3. Great, I said so you think speaker 3 is much better than 2 and for just a little more money? Yes was the extent of the reply. Uum, ok I said and hung up. In hindsight, I wish I had thanked Mr salesperson for his disinterest in my questions and that I'm disappointed that I will shop elsewhere as I thought I had found a competitively priced and supportive shop to help me with my HI FI journey. Whoops, just realised that I'm not Hi Fi enough. Oh well.
Yesterday I visited Klapp Audio Visual make the final decision on some Sonus Faber speakers. The team at Klapp was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Great experience! Thank you to Martini and Sean. Love the SF OLYMPICA NOVA III.
Martini was super helpful with helping me connect my turntable to my Sonos sound system! I'm now far more knowledgeable in the area of record players than before I walked in store. Highly recommended!
