Easily one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Every dish I've ever had is packed with flavour and it's a place that I'm always keen to introduce more people to. Highly recommended.

A delightful little gem almost hidden in plain sight. Friendly service, BYO wed-thurs. Most importantly the food is incredible, fresh and so delicious.
Worth try! Very delicious food and nice service. But food size could be a little bit bigger
I attended the restaurant for the first time a few months ago and was blown away at the incredible food. We ordered a lot of from Seafood to chicken, and I couldn't fault any of the meals. The squid was to die for and the cocktails were delicious. it had been a very long time since I had been to a restaurant that ticked all the boxes and had kind and friendly staff. Get your butts in Amok, support local Melbourne business and enjoy the beautiful fusion food.
Went a Cambodian restaurant, impressively good, the pork belly not too heavy, the Stuffed squid are great, both side salad dressing are sooo yum, specially the avocado ice-cream is
The food here is really good. The prawn brioche rolls are the best I’ve ever had. Definitely one of our favourite restaurants along Chapel Street. A hidden gem.
Outstandingly delicious modern food with a strong influence of Cambodian cuisine styles and spices. Service is good, food comes quickly, wine list is good, BYO available Wed & Thu. This is one of my favourite places not least because the cuisine rivals nearby Mr Miyagi.
Amok provides a unique Cambodian cuisine that you can't find elsewhere in Melbourne. The food selection ranges from great fresh seafood to hearty and sweet meat that falls off the bone. The salmon tartar dish was light and tasty whereas the 12-hour cooked beef shanks melted so well in your mouth. Stand-out surprise was the king prawn brioche burger which tasted and smelled like a fancy cheeseburger (minus the cheese). It was fantastic. Everything came out so quickly we were amazed. Could've been a bit more consistent with bringing out entrés and mains together, however that's definitely knit-picking. It's a bit narrow of a place. So if loud and tight restaurants aren't your thing, might want to avoid a busy night. Excited to return!
