Nice regional airport with all the modern conveniences you'd need. Pick up and drop off is fairly easy, though best to wait until your pick up is ready and waiting before driving in as you may be redirected to the short stay carpark in peak times.

Love this airport to fly out from. So much easier than going to Sydney.
Awesome facilities for a smaller regional airport, providing all the essential travel connections around the country. Received great customer service all round. This was particularly exhibited within the Virgin Australia airline with both the checkin counters (served by Carol) and on the plane. Totally recommend
Hassle free. Easy parking straight across from terminal short minute walk and your at check-ins or Arrivals. Been many times with zero bad experiences.
Clean airport, easy to navigate
Efficient and friendly staff on check in and scanning. The usual overpriced food and beverage as in all airports. All up very good
It would be nice if EVERYONE wore a face mask given they are mandatory at the moment in all airports across NSW... It's no use having signs everywhere if you don't have the ppl around to enforce it. Having said that, Newcastle airport is a great airport generally!
