Serviceable for what it is (a light rail end-stop) but they really should have just kept the rail to go to the centre of Newcastle.

Caught a 3 hour ride from Newcastle to Strathfield. Was a fun and enjoyable experience, the toilets on the train however was absolutely horrific. Needed to pee but decided to hold it in, did NOT take a second look at the bathrooms.
During Weekdays I've found the 110 "Loop Service" bus to now be running every 15 minuets instead of 10 and no longer meeting connecting trains at the station like it was suppose to be doing when the line to Old Newcastle Station was cut and the bus service was started. What's even worse is there's hardly a bus Marshall out here & if you can be lucky enough to find one be prepared to be fed all sorts of excuses as to why the "110" shuttle bus is no longer a "Train replacement" bus but a loop service around the CBD. Make matters worse there's no Timetable for the 110 bus here (even if it's a loop service) and have to use apps & trip planners to find out when the next bus is coming in case your first one has been or hasn't arrived.

The 24 bus drops off and picks up passengers at this bus stop. The 22, 23, 26, and 28 terminate at this bus stop. According to Hunter Valley Buses, the 138 and 140 buses drop off passengers at this bus stop. I am unsure if they accept any passegers who would like to board the bus. The 110 Newcastle Loop Service starts and ends here. There are no seats, but there is a milk crate masquerading as a garbage bin. If the bus stop is only temporary until the 'bus interchange' is built, they could have made it look acceptable, with at least a seat or two (2). It appears 'cheap and nasty'.
