A quick & efficient process when picking up & dropping off the car. The shuttle to & from the airport was easily organised & added to the ease of hiring & returning the car. Staff were friendly & a positive face for the company. The car was as described & was good to drive for our hire period. I would certainly use Bargain Car Rentals again.

This is the best experience I have ever had with a car company. Service was friendly, welcoming, polite and helpful. This bus to and from the Airport was fantastic and were I had problems with my "finance" they were very empathetic and helped me.
I recently rented a car from Bargain Car Rentals for 16 days when I visited Launceston from Brisbane. I was extremely happy with the car (although it was a basic, "no-frills", Hyundai Accent Sport) and also very impressed with the service, especially from Mel at the Launceston Airport depot. I was also very happy with the friendly airport pick-up/return service by the guys at drive-park-fly, which worked very well. This was my second, pleasant experience renting with Bargain and I will gladly return again, and also recommend Bargain Car Rentals to other renters. Many thanks, from Chris (in Brisbane).
Hello my partner and me are very disappointed in Bargain Renatals. We hired a Toyota Hiace Camper 2019 model for two weeks , to travel through Tasmania. It was raining every now and than ,and the back sliding windows ,were not sealed properly. The mattress we sleept on got drenched. Beside that the kitchen tap did not work , even tho the water tank was full. The Staff even tried to get the water pump going when my partner dropped the van, but they were clueless aswell. This issue forced us to stay at more expensive camp grounds with water tap on the camping spot. Also there were glass splitter in the boot , as the van had a new replaced back window. However, it is dangerous to leave the glass splitter in the boot. We paid around 1500 for two weeks. And the office at Launceston received our complaint already and promised that they will get it to the head office. It has been two weeks and we haven't heard anything yet. Very bad service and product.
I picked them online because they offered the cheapest car for my trip... but I wasn't disappointed! It was easy, well-managed, convenient, and the car was great. Very clean, recent model. It was my first time renting a car but they made it all very easy and straightforward. The lady was lovely and very accommodating, eager for travellers to have a great time. I will be using this company again gladly!
The camper we hired was well fitted out with all bedding, doona, pillows, cooking utensils, etc and in very good condition. Everything worked as expected and generally we were very comfortable. It was perfect for our trip. Many thanks to Mel for dropping off my cup at the airport after I left it in the van. Great service over and above what is expected.
Friendly staff who look after you well. Prices are steep but the best we were able to find. Cars are not mint but as something to get around in it was fine for us. Would recommend as opposed to some of the majors.
