I would not recommend Dr. Greer from my personal experience. I had PRK laser surgery to correct my vision, which was a very painful experience a few hours after I arrived home, there was no answer on the phone, my mum had to call another eye surgery for advice. I could not open my eyes and the feeling was something like having glass shards in my eyeballs which I wasn't warned about and recommended panadol, ended up at the doctors getting strong prescribed Endone pain killers which was the only thing . After a countless amount of follow up appointments (which cost around 90) he assured me it was then successful, even though I was clearly struggling to read through the numbers on the board. After about a year of living my life like this I then went to specsavers which said I have a pretty heavy prescription, Dr. Greer then proceeded to say they were wrong and wanted money for glasses.I then got one more opinion from an eye surgeon who then confirmed it is unsuccessful, I need to wear visual aids still or correction surgery is still an available option and LASIK would have suited my eyes better (which would cost 8k). I emailed Dr. Greer with all this information and concerns, he then said I should come in for an appointment. At the appointment he was 3 hours late, then took no responsibility in correcting this or lying to me as said this was the best it would get for me and he could not do any better and that I should maybe go see another surgeon. On the way home I bawled my eyes out and have never felt so ripped off and conned in my life, overall I just wish if it wasn't suitable for me he wouldn't have done it.
