Haven't been there for about 20 years !! What a pleasant surprise. It is easy to walk around, well signposted. Good for wheelchairs, walkers, strollers and slow walking people ( me !!). Food and service in cafe is excellent. Easy to get to,not off Pennant Hills Road or Castle Towers at Castle Hill.

Flying Foxes, Sea Eagle, Dragons galore, Cassowaries!, and most importantly for the kids...the chance to pet the animals. Yes, there are Koalas, Wallabies, Wombats and Kookaburras. The kids loved it!

You will find everything here except Koala Only one koala in Koala Sanctuary which is weird. It is like a small zoo where you can spend like two good hours feeding kangaroos and goats. There are dingos, pythons ,alpacas, ducklings, rabbits , and a lot of hungry goats You can buy food to feed kangaroos and goats at the entrance for 2.5 packet. Kangaroos do not eat that food at all and are super lazy but you can feed the goats and there babies. The ticket is 28 per person for adults which some of us will find expensive for a small park.

Great place for small kids. Spent the morning there with my daughter. All the park guides were friendly and encouraged interaction with their animals. Mitchell was really welcoming and helped us with the koala patting. Good work team!

We went here on a Sunday morning, it's fairly small so it won't take up your entire day a few hours is enough to see everything and have a bite to eat. Not many animals and the park still has a lot of damage from the storm in December 2018. Lots of enclosures are empty and damaged. It definitely needs some maintenance. Staff were all very friendly. My 19 month old had a good time, older kids may get a bit bored. Overall a nice way to spend half a day.

Horrible place. IT’S NOT A SANCTUARY, it’s a zoo!!! They even have birds and bats locked in cages. It is called koala park, and there is only 1 koala... It is all deteriorated, it looks sad... the animals are sad... and above 28!!!! DO NOT COME! I don’t recommend it at all...

I visited the park with my 4yo son for an easy morning out. We only saw two other guests in the entire park so was a very quiet morning. The animals all appeared in good condition and their enclosures were reasonable. The signs indicating the animal details were cheap and hard to read. Whilst it was great to be so close to the animals there were signs on most enclosures indicating they bite and additional fencing down low which looked like it had been added on and thus a bit cheap. It would be better to provide improved barriers. I didn’t see any evidence of enrichment in the enclosures so this was a bit disappointing. Also if you’re going to see koalas there is a lot better places. There was only one on display and due to the high fence I had to lift my very heavy son so he could see. What was most disappointing was the landscaping of the park. It was incredibly run down. There were temporary fences everywhere, the gardens were completely overrun with weeds and the paths were full of cracks and bumpy bits. Whilst the buildings themselves were fine the huge amount of bark on roofs and grime on walls just made it all really unappealing. There was a small sign up indicating significant storm damage in dec 2018 but I would expect this completely sorted by now. The whole thing just made me feel quite sad for the place as suspect if they could invest significant funds into aesthetics and maintenance it could really make a difference to the place and make it so much more attractive to visit. We did a lap of it in about 45 minutes which was enough for my son. Not great value for money though.
