Nice meal when we finally got it. We were in a group of four two of the group had finished their meal before we got ours. The place has a nice atmosphere. My friend who is a seasoned Guinness drinker said they don't know how to pour a Guinness.

Service staff were welcoming and friendly. Nice quaintly small pup. Good menu choices and quick service. Meals were all nice and tasty. Chicken Caesar Salad was very well presented the Beef & Guinness Pie was on the dry side. Parking is available but a small car park there is street parking available as well. No disabled parking from what I can see. Access ok for mobility impaired but book downstairs tables.

We went on a Friday lunch time the service was great and the food was amazing, there was no one who had a bad dish. The serves are good and if you like to share dishes there’s lots of choice, really there is some think for everyone. It is family friendly as well. We all had a great lunch and are looking forward in going back.

Had a good night out. Staff were very good..but the lamb rack which I ordered was very tough, chewy,,,so would have been 5 stars if that was eatable..

Wide range of beers (and wines), restaurant quality food. Pub ambiance with friendly relaxed bar staff. What's not to like?

Environment was great, very rustic pub. Service was prompt and friendly. Ordered Irish coffee which was strong but tasty. Had the steak lunch special. Meat was cheap cut so little tough however can't complain too much for 15. Chips and salad was fine. Colleagues chicken burger lunch special did not look appetizing though, he mentioned it tasted ok even with the cheap cost 15.

I ordered the fish and chips with mushy peas (never tried mushy peas before). The hand cut chips were soggy so that was a let down, although in contrast the fish was wonderfully crunchy and tender on the inside, the mushy peas was a highlight as the smooth texture with a pea come egg flavour was fantastic.
