Extremely beautiful furniture. The only thing I dislike is the extremely expensive delivery costs. Paying 90 to travel two kilometres is a rip off, so it's good to hire your own people.

I was very disappointed when I visited Early Settler today. Firstly, I went to the West Gosford store to order some dining chairs which I had seen previously. I went around the store 3 times, then waited near the 'Service' desk. No staff acknowledged me, or offered any kind of customer service. Secondly , the shop was a shambles. It used to be presented so beautifully. There was not one area in the store that was appealing. The visual merchandising is non existent. After 35 minutes I left the store and went into Oz Design. I was met at the entrance by a smiling staff member offering me help. The shop was a visual feast. I found a very similar dining chair and they met your sale price so I happily ordered my chairs there, also spending more money on artwork and cushions. Pick up your game Early Settler!

I don't know why this is coming up 5 stars...I only give it 2 stars! One for the lady, one because it is a beautiful chair... Now it's repaired! Lovely lady in shop. Kind & helpful. Thankyou Loretta. However, the lovely 400 velvet chair I brought home was broken & it took 5 weeks of phone calls from me to get the replacement from a store only 1 hr away (that was out of the sales assistants hands) Attitude from regional manager was that they were doing ME the favour! I definitely won't ever shop there again (Yet another store got a sofa transferred from interstate for me within 4 days!!!)

This is the second time we visited the Gosford store and we enjoyed a nice experience twice. The staff was friendly and customer focussed, even when faced with a delayed truck which caused a backlog in unpacking their warehouse items. The girls in the store managed to get our stuff out while we were waiting even though they had a lot of boxes to get through. We will definitely come back here. Thanks!

If it weren't for Loretta, I would be giving this shop 1 star. Furniture delayed 3 times, charged incorrectly, and wrong sofa ordered from the warehouse. Luckily for us, we had a very lovely sales assistant, Loretta, who helped us out immensely, and arranged some compensation for the mess around. Early settler need to pick up their game when it concerns contacting their customers and keeping them up to date with delivery changes etc.
