I started classes with only basic school French. There is a class for every level of current ability. The teachers are all French with excellent English. The classes are fun, and the teachers are excellent and very supportive. I’m still going strong after 3 years.

Just as it says, yes, the France isn't too far away So worried was I after 15 years of not studying the language back in high school, it has turned to be one of the best choices that I made: coming to Alliance Francaise Brisbane to pick up the broken pieces. Since I came to AF early last year, my journey has been a smooth sailing. Not only are they corresponding to my learning needs with a wide range of class options at your disposal, but also teachers are accommodating and approachable. Furthermore, the team is readily available to provide any supports that students require as little as what courses to sign up for, or any handy tips if you sit for an exam. I would recommend to anyone either who hasn't studied French before, or wishes to brush up on their rusty bits so that they could have that sense of achievement as the language progresses as well as the sense of community that we share here at the Alliance Francaise Brisbane.
Excellent learning centre to learn French language
Excellent environment, professional teachers, fun learning. Procrastinated learning French a few times, Alliance delivered. The difference is the classes are fun, and motivated me to want to speak to my teacher and classmates. Talking about work days and weekends in French really brings the language close to home, so much more than "Où est le bureau de poste?"
Alliance Francaise is a wonderful institution in Brisbane, great teaching staff and team, excellent for anyone wanting to learn more about French language and culture. Definitely recommended!
Front desk 'lady' is so rude and unhelpful. It's like you are inconveniencing her by asking a question about classes. Terrible service.
