I was allocated to Matchworks Werribee, and I must say the professionalism and genuine attentiveness and empathy by the staff (Missy and Jennifer) was and is overwhelming. They gave me the confidence,support and reassurance to help me get back on track,when I was lost and thought I at the age of 58 there was nothing out there for me. I have suffered with low self esteem and depression for some time now. The great news is that I am working and things are looking up, I haven’t felt so positive and strong and able to face the day with enthusiasm for so long.I thank the team for their initial and ongoing support and I owe it to myself and Matchworks to put my best foot forward everyday and do my best. I worked with Amy Ralston as my case manager, and have finally had positive changes happen in my life because of this interaction. She was the first case worker to pick up my case and finally help me with navigating the system. There aren't enough words to explain or thank her for the help she has given me. Her holistic working and engaging, her understanding of complex mental health issues and disabilities enabled me to fully engage with her without the fear of judgement that usually restricts people when they interact with such programs. I owe her a large amount of gratitude. I'm incredibly grateful for everything she's done for me. I have had negative experiences with other case managers and have brought this attention to management. When I brought this to the attention of my case worker she was disheartened by the fact that people have had these experiences.
I am a new client of Matchworks Werribee and Adam was Allocated to me in March 2020. He has been amazing to work with over this period and would like to say thank you.
