I found in my first recent admission to this facility to be far and above my expectations. My Psychiatrist saw me three days a week and she definitely listened to me. The programs, covering a wide variety of topics, were extremely beneficial and were much more in depth than any I’ve ever experienced before. Clients have the opportunity to voice their point of view and partake in discussions. The nursing staff, bed managers and OT’s are all amazing! A gym is available for use seven days a week too. I couldn’t rate The Marion Centre highly enough.

You guys are simply amazing and i thank you from from my heart for helping me through this difficult time in my life. The group sessions were amazing as well so thanks To all of you. I was very impressed during my recent four week stay in the Marian. Everyone is treated with respect and encouragement. The nurses take the time to chat and to see if they can help. The education sessions were very helpful. It is a lovely facility where everyone smiles!!

Paid 415 for a "90 minute session" which turned out to be 60 minutes. Dr Clea Louw was 40 minutes late to my appointment with no apology at all, even though I was told to arrive ten minutes early which I did. She gave me two prescriptions with no explanation of what they do, and I didn't find out that one of them was ADDICTIVE until the pharmacist told me when I went to purchase them. I received absolutely zero help, guidance, reassurance, empathy, nothing. This place is money hungry, they do not care about you, they care about your pay check (and they know I don't work, so I just forked out a lot of money and received nothing in return). I have told my Doctor to no longer recommend this place, especially Dr Clea Louw, as she clearly is not equipped to work with mentally ill patients. We come to you for help and you literally create more anxiety, this place is a scam to say the least.

The nurses were lovely and helpful but Dr Louw was utterly useless . More interested in making money and charging the hospital. I am appalled at her unprofessionalism she displays and is a disgrace to the Marion centre . This lady should not be working in this field . Retire and do everyone a favour. She also refused a second opinion and had no access to outpatient services. Such a disgrace that you pay top dollar for HBF to get service like that . She also insulted me during the meetings I had with her . Please contact me for further information.

I wish 0 stars was an option... I am having a Mental Health Crisis! I called, asked for help, they said Dr Atartis does not want to see me any longer as I missed ONE APPOINTMENT. I said I sent a text msg saying I could not attend, they never called to follow up. Just told me I was inactive. I offered to pay the missed appt fee. On top of my multiple diagnoses I now feel rejected by the only person I have talked to. I need help... the staff member Tahlia was particularly cold and unhelpful continuing to refer me back to my GP.

Tried to book an appointment which got cancelled by staff, booked another which was four months away and they didnt even book it. Horrible service i now have to wait for god knows how long to get any help. Reception needs serious upgrade as this level of negligence is unacceptable at a place where peoples live are on the line
