My husband and I had 4 dance lessons before our wedding. We thought it would be a fun way to spend time together before the wedding. It ended up turning into a really memorable part of the wedding and a great way to celebrate becoming husband and wife. Carlos and Sophia looked after us and were awesome. We were so nervous but right from the start they made us feel comfortable. We choose a non mainstream song and they created a beautiful dance for us that was within our ability while keeping it interesting to perform and watch. We really enjoyed each of our lessons as part of the wedding planning process - thanks Carlos and Sophia!

Dancing at our wedding was something outside my comfort zone so we decided to book three lessons to learn a few basic steps. In a short timeframe Carlos choreographed a full routine to our chosen song that was impressive and also within our ability, and taught it to us - all in the space of 3 hour-long classes. Carlos was welcoming and professional and gave me confidence to dance and have fun. I noticed a big change in my attitude to dancing over the course of the classes and that was thanks to his teaching and approach. Our dance ended up being a lot of fun and our wedding guests really enjoyed it too. Thanks so much Carlos!
Thanks so much Julie. We had our doubts we would be able to pull it off (we don't dance at all) but after 9 lessons, it went off without a hitch and we were really happy with how comfortable we were with each other and it just became second nature. I was also happy we did more than just shuffle around the dance floor. We didn't experience any issues at all regarding missing lessons or rescheduling. It was all very straightforward and they discuss it all beforehand. Highly recommend Julie - thank you so much!
Julie simply helped to make our perfect wedding day even more perfect. Everyone loved the dance we got to perform for them. They couldn't believe the display we gave. All this thanks to our dance instructor. My blushing bride and I loved going each week to our lessons. It couldn't have been any more fun.I would recommend seeing Julie to anyone.
We booked ourselves in for 7 lessons. 3 of our lessons were great with a particular teacher, but she left the company and we had one lesson with the owner - complete lunatic! We had videoed our dance and she wouldn't let us refer to the video, in the 55 min session - we danced all of 2 minutes because she decided to demonstrate how to count time with her string music and then we had to walk around the room in circles. We took the company to Fair Trading NSW and her argument was that she was showing us dance standards by the International School of Dance. Don't waste your time with this company - you end up with the owner and she won't take No for an answer and treats you like a child.
My husband and I joined up to take classes late November to have a bridal dance for our wedding which took place in February. I have been so shocked and dismayed with the treatment we recieved throughout. During our classes with Julie Tremp we were constantly critisied, demeaned and this has left us very upset over the whole ordeal. We were not permitted to film our dance and would not let us wear the shoes which we needed to practice in for our big day. I was also told i had fat arms and other such things that i will not go into Wedding dance lessons administration are also less than desirable, they do not care to help you in the slightest (even in natrual disasters such as floods and streetlight outages which was the major problem in Parramatta that evening) which required us to reshedule at short notice. They continued on a rant of terms and conditions. Surely there can be special considerations when required? It was the atmost appauling behaviour. When trying to discuss this issue in person with Julie she was extremley unsympathetic, she yelled at me 'I'm not changing my whole life schedule for you' while i was trying to dicuss resheduling. Given that we had to reshedule on less than an hours notice after she herself was ill back in December. (For which we were more than accommodating and understanding) Overall would most definately NOT recommend dance lessons from this place ever.
Thank you to Julie and her team.. We loved our lesson and loved the results on our wedding day even more, thank you so much to our fabulous teacher, we got exactly what we wanted and even more than expected. This dance company is very open and honest to deal with and no hidden conditions or extras - everything was upfront and good as their word. I would definitely recommend them to our friends and for anyone thinking of having that professional edge when it comes to their wedding dance. Everyone was super impressed with our performance
Teacher is great, the owner is very unaccomodating. Change teacher without notice, doesn't provide teacher schedule, very uncooperative and wouldn't reschedule or refund. The owner requires you to pay all lessons in advance (we paid for 5 lessons), once they get your money, they don't care. They don't care about your dance, they don't care about whether you get the same teacher or not, they don't care whether your wedding dance is good or not. The owner only cares about taking your money. Doesn't care about anything else. You can get a private teacher easily with the price you pay. Would not recommend it to couples who are looking for good customer service, good experience, friendly administrative team. Owner very difficult to deal with. Have to take the matter to fair trading.
