Amazing!!!!!!!!!! The food was so fresh and tasty. The presentation of the teas was so very quaint and lovely. The waitress Jamie was so articulate and so helpful; she explained the menu in detail with such exceptional ease. What a pleasant surprise to be served by such a polite and friendly person. My wife and I live on the North Shore, but will definitely becoming back as often as we can. Well done and please keep up the great work. A wonderful experience at the highest quality.

Pu'er is open for dinner and lunch so one afternoon we came here for lubch and was very surprised with the quality of the dumplings. The shanghai dumplings were particularly good enjoyed by all; the meat eater of the group was impressed by the green tea vegetarian dumplings. The service was of an excellent standard, with the staff demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the tea and food served. All up, we enjoyed our lunch in this up market Cantonese cafe and will be coming back for more.
Dinner for four on a Saturday night - the restaurant was close to full, but not cramped. The tables are quite small, and suit ordering a few dishes at a time rather than all at once. Good value for the amount of food on offer - 7 for three or four dumplings of a generous size, 16 for 2/3 of an eggplant soaked in soy and mushroom - but 8 for a small pot of exotic tea is a stretch.
Great place for tea with just about flavour you can imagine! Friendly service with a smile and located in a great part of town.
I heard about Pu'er through the Good Food Guide, where Terry Durrack raved about their dumplings. Being a huge dumpling fan, I went with a friend to check it out. Fair warning, sans the dessert, we only ate dumplings. They were around 7 for 3 dumplings, which might make sharing a touch awkward since most tables are even numbers. Regardless, they were all delicious with the spicy prawn and Shanghai dumplings being regarded as our favourites by unanimous consent. They also have a short but eclectic list of Asian beers and a fairly short and pedestrian list of wines. Their selection of herbal teas, however, is quiet broad and beautifully described. Will be back when I can...
Totally amazing ... Menu is out of this world - Drunken Duck is to DIE for. Get ready for a taste sensation and to be have your socks knocked off. The mini Hong Kong Burgers are not only cute but my fav and I cant get enough. Next time I go I am going the full tea tasting as it others have raved about it. If you only do one ASIAN Fusion place in your life make it this one OHHHHH and the prices are very reasonable
Highly recommend you try the Hong Kong mini burgers!
