Beautiful scenic drive with lots of waterfalls along the way. Hence the name: waterfall way. Be sure to stop off at the Dorrigo rainforest centre, to pick up track info about the various walks in Dorrigo national park. The rangers are also a wealth of useful info, including track closures etc.
