Shane is consistent, kind, honest and takes pride in what he does. He is fair and reliable and often runs the yard singlehandedly on weekends. The yard runs like clockwork. Riversides topsoil and compost also have far less weeds and impurities in them when compared to other yards. If you don't want to get drowned in weeds when you use topsoil, then go to Riverside for your supply.

During lockdown we decided to redevelop a large part of our front garden and most of our backyard. Riverside Sand and Soil were recommended and we decided to give them a go. We are extremely happy with Shane's service, products and pricing. Shane has provided us with great advice and has been able to deliver whenever we have needed it (thank you Simon). We bought garden soil, lawn soil, mulch, packing sand, potting mix and fertiliser. The quality is excellent. I highly recommend Riverside Sand and Soil for any garden project, large or small. As we continue to improve our garden we will be returning for more.
I ordered river sand over the phone and was able to pop in, have Shane quickly load the bags and I was on my way. Friendly service, an easy, quick transaction and reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Phoned Riverside yesterday to seek advice and price of packing sand for a large filling job of two concrete ponds. Shane gave me the time to explain the job ahead of me to him and provided me options with expert advice to utilise existing materials, thus missing out on a possible large order (approx 600 -800) for himself. Much appreciated advice Shane, and rest assured of a soon to be new customer to your business over summer and the word spread across Ringwood North and beyond .
