Honestly, It is a great school with great teachers, my VCE experience here was fantastic, and all the teachers were very supportive of those that genuinely wanted to succeed. The only reason why there are 1 star reviews are because they are made by delinquent children who just hate school and learning in general, but use Wantirna College as a scapegoat for their own failures in life.

I went to this High School and I would not recommend sending your child here. The teachers are so bad.. the quality of their effort is shocking.. If you care about your childs learning... go to another school.

No idea why there's bad reviews on here. School has been amazing. Great support from the well-being centre when needed. Teachers are always receptive to our emails and always answer. Lot's of open space around the school, excellent (although a little expensive) cafe, approachable staff and some great initiatives with the new Principal in 2018. Only downside is that not all teacher's utilise Compass, so sometimes difficult to keep up with child's work.

Fantastic year 7 program, so welcoming. Meeting new people and finding your way around the school is super easy after the first few weeks. As the years go by the changes start to get challenging but there is a wellbeing program that can help out also the more experienced teachers encourage you to come talk to them if you need anything. This year a bunch of new teachers enrolled so it's making school a little more difficult than the previous years because they're only just getting use to teaching and dealing with certain behaviors. So many amazing activities and roles such as production, sports excellence, music lessons, SRC and leadership roles (homegroup captian, middle years captain, school captain etc.) There are so many opportunities at this school. I believe the biggest problem at this school is the lack of respect towards teachers and students. By doing a code of co-operation at the start of every year is not going to do anything and it hasnt worked at all, this also goes for telling everyone to respect everyone, you need gain respect not tell people to do it. Overall a really great school, it definitely has its moments and i reccomend enrolling. There's a few things it needs to work on but i strongly believe these problems will be fixed in the years to come.
