A huge excellent example of a historical Brisbane, Australian bridge!

I drive over this bridge almost daily and always look in wonder at the age of it. Last night I decided to stop and take some photos on the way home from dinner. The bridge can be very photogenic at night with just the right angles and exposure. Would love to do the bridge tour inside one day to see what it looks like from there.

The Walter Taylor Bridge is Australia's longest span suspension bridge. It was built between 1932-1936 and incorporated steel cables that had assisted in the building of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The end towers of the bridge were originally used as residences. Guided tours of the Indooroopilly end tower can be booked through the Brisbane City Council website. The bridge was entered on the Queensland Heritage Register in 1992.
