The service is excellent with consideration given to timing. The food is tasty, servings are just large enough to satisfy. A good deal

Had a lovely pre-theatre meal here. We decided on sharing and ordered 2 entrees, the lemongrass pumpkin rice balls and salt & pepper style squid and 1 main, the barbeque pork & prawn fried rice. The serving was perfect for two to share and it came really quickly. The rice balls were full of flavour and the squid was cooked to perfection. There wasn't a whole lot of flavour to the fried rice but it was a good side dish to compliment the others. We loved our cocktails and coffee too!
Walsh Bay Kitchen is a restaurant and bar in the Rocks. Our group ordered from the pre theatre menu before a Sydney Theatre Co production. The food was sophisticated, delicious and beautifully presented (see photos). Their service was quite fast as well, which is appreciated when on a timeline!
Food was below any comments, service so so but place is top. So, will definitely never go back. Atmosphere was busy, hard to talk as another 100 guests were trying to do the same. We ordered tree course dinner and only Entre was worth eating. Ever desserts were not sweet enough. Sorry, but never again
My friend and I shared an Irish-themed share platter before theatre, together with a Brussels sprouts side. The platter was generous, and two of the items were delicious. The potato skins were on the cold side, and much better with a sprinkling of salt. There was a good selection of affordable wines by the glass, and a few which were more premium also. Staff were pleasant and efficient.
Great meal! Very good service, charming and efficient. I missed not having a gluten-free dessert and Ice Cream or Sorbet were not available. Maybe next time. Good atmosphere, not too noisy.
Pre-theatre venue is excellent. Service was excellent, but the special "fish and chips" main offering prior to the production @ 25 pp, or at any price, was an absolutely appalling frozen-mass-produced offering. Any more like this and this will be our last visit.
Very convenient for the theatre and menu choices are good (they have improved a lot). We have also done he 2 courses pre theatre, returning at the interval for dessert and a glass of bubbly. Very enjoyable. Friendly staff. I would definitely recommend
