Door city are an excellent company to deal with, as we needed a new internal door for our garage, Myles was very informative and advised us on all the aspects of what we required. We ordered our door there and then. We had it installed within two weeks. Steve the installer did a great job too and was very pleasant to deal with. All I can say is we love the door that we got from Door City and looking at ordering more doors in the new year. Would recommend Door City to anyone looking for a new door. The installation was headache and then the installer proceeded to wash out stained soak sponges on my newly laid cement. Although promised to get this repaired, no one has called me back or turned up.
After much research and soul searching, I employed the services of Door City North Brisbane to supply the new front entrance doors for my home. Being the front entrance - and very obviously being the first ting that anyone sees as they come to your home, I was pretty dogmatic that I wanted a quality job - and that I wanted a very open and frank negotiation and discussion on everything - from start to finish. The team from Door City were phenomenal. Their attention to detail and their communications with me were first class. The quality of the craftmanship was excellent - and now that the doors are installed, I'm more that happy with my decision to work with Door City. I fully recommend them to anyone.
Dealing with Door City was the worst experience with customer service I have ever had. We waited for nearly four months for one front door. Over this time we were told many fabrications about the status of our door, e.g it has arrived at the Sunshine Coast and someone will contact you soon to arrange installation, sorry the door is stuck at the port on a container. The staff member Lily who we were talking to would promise to return our phone calls but never did. This happened every week, several times for two months. Finally we were told that we could not be provided with a door and we would be refunded our money. We provided Door City with our bank details and a detailed complaint about our experience. Not surprisingly they didn’t reply and we had to call a week later to see what was happening with our refund. Myles told us that they would refund the money. When asked if they had any response to our complaint he said “what do you want an apology or something?” He also told us that his company was renowned for their customer service. Obviously, they didn’t care in our case. After doing some research it appears there are many people with similar complaints about Door City. Steer clear of this company!
One of your driver's cut me off at 2.50 at the bp heading back to your business today me being in a truck had to slam on the breaks, please don't cut Infront of trucks.
They just finished my set of stacker doors today. Karl installed it, and he has done an amazing job. It’s made our house look a lot better just from changing that old door to the ones we have today. So much better. Cheers!
