I can highly recommend the services of Ozcare homeless men's shelter to anyone in need of a place to live and re-establish their lives. This hostel gave me food, a bedroom, laundry and bathroom facilities plus so much more, including expert support from the helpful and friendly staff that enabled me to aquire affordable housing with the department of housing in Fortitude Valley. I will be forever grateful for their hospitality and assistance!

Stayed there for 3 months in late 2017 to 2018. Only good thing about it was 3 meals a day. Staff were a joke except for one or two and had my laptop stolen out of my secure locker and witnessed fights where the staff did nothing to stop it until a young bloke got his arm broken. Toilets were lacking in toilet paper and showers were cold many times. Will never forget this disgraceful place

Brilliant for the services provided. GP, nurses, podiatrist and physio, three meals a day and work offered. Staff are firm but just. Plenty in the way of amenities

Grateful for this place where I turned my life around with support from the Capuchin friars in St Mary's Church next door. Honoured to receive the responsibility of being storeman, which gave me an opportunity to practise getting up early and doing a job that required negotiating with clients who sometimes asked for more than permitted. Good place to practise saying No to addictive substances.

The staff are dedicated to helping those who are in crisis, to get back on their feet. They provide excellent cooked meals and help you to apply for Dept of Housing accommodation. My only reservations are not so much on their service but more on the level of illicit substances their client group often bring. The staff do they best in often trying circumstances.
