This vet surgery does not do prescriptions. My dog is on allergy medication which costs 4 per tablet twice daily. He needs to have them forever. I found them online for 2.50 per tablet. Rang the vet and said I was happy to buy them through them at that price or even a little more to support local business. They just kept saying they don’t do prescriptions so I have taken my business elsewhere. 1.50 twice a day adds up quickly.

Why is it when you visit the Vets they never let uno the price you just end up with the fee. I'm new and I filled out the form cos I'm new then got sent into the checking room, he had a feel around then asked a couple questions then grabbed product started cleaning her ears and checked her over all less than 10min and was slapped with 148 bill??? Kick in the gut and probably won't ever return... just communicate and let us know. It's not like everyone had that kind of money just in the bank for their pets. That's not good.

Awesome staff and Vet doctors cant fault them at all. Dr Nigel was wonderful with our cat Mason & managed to diagnose what was wrong (when another vet couldnt) operate & fix him

We run a not-for-profit charity (Empower Assistance Dogs) where we train government certified Guide, Hearing and Assistance dogs to be partnered with persons with disability. Dr Nigel and his wonderful team go above and beyond to ensure our dogs get the best care possible. They are great supporters of our charity and we never worry about our dogs when they are in their care for veterinary work as we always know that they will be very well cared and attended to and that the team ensure they receive the highest level of treatment. It's when there's an emergency situation that you see them at their best as they not only care for their patient but ensure we humans understand and are comfortable with the care they need to give at the time. I wish we could say they give us 'special treatment' but we see them give their other clients the same level of care and respect so we can't recommend them highly enough. Great treatment and care for the patients, value for money and great ongoing support whenever needed. Thanks for taking such great care of our dogs Village Veterinary Care Clinic!
