Phone is always busy. M in darwin nt cant go to perth for my queries no reply on mail. Phone is always busy. Worst service.
This is based on my experience a few months ago. Waiting was crazy. Even people with appointments were waiting like 2 hrs to be seen. Walk-ins, expect to wait at least 5 hrs. No TV/Magazines to pass such a long time. Water sits in an open jugs for hours. Once in the office, the more experienced staff was very rude and belittling towards a new employee. I felt it was unprofessional and the system has a lot of room for improvement, starting from VFS having a phone number for the public to contact. Having no appointments until next month but you can walk in anytime if you pay 120 is such a money making scheme. People in a hurry will obviously do that. Main thing - if they tell your visa will come in max ... working days, don't believe them. Go for a priority. Don't risk it if you're in a hurry.
Calls never get answered, no replies to mails, there is no way you can contact them. My passport is stuck with them and I have no update when I will receive it. My husband's pcc was sent with wrong address and we had to chase with AU post to trace our parcel(passport)
No hearing, no helpline, no email reply. Same on you.
Terrible customer service. The staff thinks she needs to intimate you as if she is a diplomatic officer. She provided false information regarding visa requirements, in order to get you to pay more. When shown official documentation, she started to act dumb, and threatened not to take your applications, which she does have the power to mess up your paperwork. So customers should perhaps suck up and comply, and pay a service fee more than twice the visa application fee. I may be blacklisted after this honest review. But consider yourself warned.
What an absolute farce of a department. They forgot about my application and it ended up taking 2 months (when it was supposed to take 15 working days) to receive anything. Utterly, utterly useless.
