Unfortunately, I highly do NOT recommend this place at all. 1. No after-hour number to call for the unruly campers. Your best bet is to call the local police for any noise makers (beware, you will come across a few). The park lets its' campers smoke pot and play music at 3 am, and it even lets people check in at midnight which causes disturbance and wakes everybody else up. I stayed for 3 nights, and not a single night did I get a decent sleep due to the pot smokers, music and late check ins. 2. While safety and an enjoyable stay is not on the managements list for this caravan park, know that they will definitely come and double check whether you have paid for your stay, check exactly what you have with you and if by any chance any extra people are present at your site, you will have to pay immediately at ridiculous prices. 3. They supposedly had a 4 night minimum when I booked the stay, however, for the 3 nights that I stayed (as I could not bare to stay any longer), I saw so many come and go within a day. 1 night and they're out. It seems as though the park charges people whatever they please and come up with random rules. There are no specific site numbers for the unpowered area, hence there is high chance neighbours will not provide you with the desired personal space. 4. No sanitiser stations anywhere at the park. Bring your own and don't forget a mask as social distancing is not observed at the communal areas. :) 5. The toilets are cleaned once a day (if even), not a pretty sight. 6. Kitchen appliances are old, dirty and need replacing ASAP. Safe to say, I will not be back. :)

Great place! Good coffee and lovely stay with tent close to the pond. Very friendly duckies :)))
The man that works at the store at this place is the rudest man I have ever come across. I’ve been living in Ventnor for 5 years now and refuse to go to this place because of him. Tonight I stopped in on my way home to get one thing because it’s convenient and of course I remembered why I don’t go there, he shouldn’t be working in customer service if he hates his job that much. Learn how to talk to customers!! I highly recommend to bypass this place and just go to Cowes and support any other business that is a lot cheaper and friendlier!!
As soon as we enter the shop to buy food/query/ about camping, the owner asks us to wear masks. He was rude and the guy he was dealing with did not wear mask. Not only that, he wasn’t even wearing a mask properly...
We stayed in the cabins so this review only applicable to the cabin accommodation and not the camp site. Location is great which is outside but only few minutes away from the town centre. It is also in close proximity to the nobbies, penguin parade & race circuit so is quiet at night. The cabin itself is nicely positioned overlooking the lake/pond and camp site. It is well equipped with kitchen, washroom and bedrooms. Unfortunately our cabin had a broken air-con on a hot day but owner cannot provide with replacement or repair. (I would think a facility as such should have spares and replacements on hand for emergency situations ie: pedestal fan) the cabin could also do with a more thorough clean. The general store is great with a good range of products from fresh fruit/ veg to fishing gear. Overall a good holiday park. Hopefully we will see some improvement on our next trip.
Great place to stay at.
Surprisingly quiet when everywhere else is booked out. Could do with freshen-up
Good spot, not too far out of town or a beach, so not much foot/ street noise. My girlfriend said the bathroom was always clean, which doesn't happen much for holiday parks. We had a great campsite, next to the dam.
