Great rooms, excellent staff and security. Perfect place to stay

An unfortunate experience, I would not recommend this accomodation to any domestic student. Rooms are clinical and it is overall an extremely unsupportive environment. Some staff are often rude and unapproachable at the best of times. Signing guests in and out continuously is a tedious task and the gates in the Yura building give the entire building a detention centre feeling. It is an increasingly expensive option for what is offered. Essentially all you have is a room, it is not a very social environment for domestic students and you are forced to make your own connections as the "events" are minimal and often get cancelled. I spent an entire year here and to be frank would never do it again.

The building is well maintained. Group activities were organised every other day. Some of my best memories were meeting a bunch of students from different cultures and backgrounds staying on campus. If I were to pursue my PHD, there is no doubt I will choose to stay in Yura again.

Probably the best place to live in UTS housing A-class security systems Common areas on floor 8th to play games and chill, and on the roof to party Really good view of Sydney city from the roof

Definitely one of the best student housing I have been too. Clean apartments with a choice of 2, 6 and studio apartments. Study rooms on every floor and common rooms with kitchen and entertainment on floor 8 and 21. A decent number of events although it would be nice if there was more.

No air conditioning in your room, it's a fricking stove inside your room during summer.
