Serious historical abuses at Ursula Hall remain covered-up and unresolved. I do not believe students can be safe so long as the current administration fails to address this and abusers remain on staff (or in esteemed positions of honor and/or influence). Victims of abuse are expected to quietly disappear, to suffer in silence with severe long-term losses to career and finances, including significant medical and psychological trauma, under threat of incurring additional harm. All so that Ursula Hall can protect its "reputation" and perpetrators can be protected, celebrated and rewarded. This is unacceptable.

Loved everyday living here, plus the view is amazing. Perfect place to live if you enjoy nature

Unbeatable, fantastic staff who are very accomodating. Facilities are decent as well, with three hot meals available a day.

After living here for two years, I've found Ursula Hall to be close-knit, caring and inclusive community. From academics to arts and sports, Ursula Hall provides daily opportunities to get involved. No other college has a family like ours -- I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to live here.

I have loved living here while studying! It's a great mix of study, sport, art and social programs in a small and caring community. There's always a hot meal ready, someone to talk to and a bed to come home to!

Ursula Hall has provided me with such a diverse, inclusive and supportive college experience. There are so many ways to get involved in the college from leadership, sports, arts and social events that give you the opportunity to put yourself out there and get the most out of your years at college. Definitely the best hall at ANU to live at!

GlutenRelief Journey

I lived at Ursula Hall for just over 2 years (2010-2012) as a gluten free resident and diner. During my stay at the main wing of this ANU owned and operated residence, a gradual (yet significant) deterioration in my overall health occurred. In the Ursies dining room, main course options containing gluten, including ‘beef and barley stew,’ were frequently (yet incorrectly) labelled ‘gluten free’ by kitchen staff. The hall administration was contacted following the termination of my room agreement. Very disappointing experience.
