Waiting on hold for 49 minutes I was told at the start???? Still here waiting!! Really Urban Utilities, terrible service, in fact not service at all, and the only reason I am on here is because I asked for a problem to be fixed in accounts and obviously after getting my new bill it hasn't been done!! :(

We had an emergency situation today with a blocked sewer/drain with some very unpleasant results. A call to Urban Utilities resulted in a team of champions (Ashley and Cliff) turning up within 30 minutes and promptly investigating the problem. These champions had the blockage cleared, the pipes fully flushed and cleaned up the mess. They were at all times pleasant, polite and helpful. They fully explained the blockage, the actions taken and our future plans to avoid a repeat problem. Thank you very much Urban Utilities and more particularly Ashley and Cliff. Cheers

I’m really disappointed with QLD Urban Utilities. They replaced a seized water meter valve at my property, and replaced it with an old dirty valve that was caked with clay and resulted in a blockage of the piping in my house. After back and forth emails with their insurance team for more than 3 months, I received an entirely unreasonable rejection of my claim and complete denial of any responsibility, despite receiving a plumbers report that states that the damage was caused by them. They even went as far as claiming that the valve they used was a ‘brand new unit’, when it is obviously aged and not new at all. Most businesses, when they cause damage to property belonging to their customers, take responsibility for the damage. It is unclear why the QLD Urban Utilities insurance team is unable to do this.

Zero review. Emergency just kept ending call with no answer. If i waste water i am billed through my ring hole but 5 days worth of water down a storm pipe is completely fine. Water wise my butt. Lets privatise infrastructure and make it better.... better for profit and not anything or anyone else.

They're a monopoly, therefore they do and charge as they please without reproach. They waste paper sending us out useless 'water advice' every quarter (in order to inflate their budget) then they send us a bill. A wasteful disgrace.

This company should be put under investigation. As a plumber they don’t do there job and don’t fix faults they are expected to maintain. I would advise anyone that has problems to read up on your rights so you don’t end up footing their bill.

I've called QUU a number of times now over the past week and I always get access to a real human very quickly and they can always answer my questions in a friendly and helpful manner. Thank you!
