Rambling paths through the gardens. 3/4 of the area is bushland. There are some unusual plants. Many are unnamed and some are repeated. Several Bbqs and shelters area available.

Great park - we just loved it, spent 3 hours here, a rather old Garden and well preserved! Clean and inviting! Do not miss out while in Hervey Bay, our third visit in Jan, after most tourists have left.

Lovely, shady oasis, but not all areas are tidy. Maybe it runs with volunteers.

Beautiful spot to sit for a picnic and have a wonder. Ducks, turtles, water fountains and small Chinese garden area. Toilets are fairly clean, no soap and has mosquitoes so take repellent.

A small botanical garden just a few hundred meters from shops and Woolworths. The small pond has about a dozen turtles and some small fishes.

Beautifully kept gardens. Easy walk around, even for a solo unguided traveller. A little shower if rain bought out a few little friends. Highly recommend for all ages & abilities.

It was quite a pleasant walk around the gardens. My 12yo had a great time photographing the gardens. We spent probably about 2 hours in all. It was quite a warm day but there was plenty of shade which made it really comfortable.

Beautiful place to walk through. Lovely and cool temperature under the trees. Relaxing and calm atmosphere. Good way to escape.
