Firstly, it's now called the Malanda Falls cafe. It is run by a single owner who does all the cooking and baking for himself and does a jolly good job if I may say so. Beautiful relaxing setting, fair prices and good food. Definitely worth stopping in for a quick bite either in or out of Malanda.

Now called Captain Chook. Ask the owner to explain - a fascinating story. Freshly cooked burgers and rolls, terrific milkshakes, reasonable pricing, good friendly service. Right next to the information centre. Recommended for a quick bite or rest on a long journey.
Great coffee and fantastic take away food or sit down meals. Great service!
