Venue was perfect, food delicious, staff exceptional. We recently held our Senior Leaders Planning day at University College and I will definitely be booking this venue again. Can't fault. Highly recommend.

Thank you UC for accommodating and caring for our daughter Michaela during her 1st year at Melbourne Uni. Knowing she is safe but having fun and enjoying student life is great assurance for us.
Everything was so beautiful until when I pull down my blinds and saw dead insects crush by the roller on the blinds. I recommend you ask cleaners to check the blinds too. Overall, it's all nice.
Wonderful way to meet like minded people experiencing semi-independent living for the first time. Great fun and memories. More important than ever with online lectures alienating people from some classes on a social level. All there ready made which is an important part of university life
University College is a wonderful institution . A College of some reputation in pioneering a residential college at the University of Melbourne for women. In this role it was very important and many women emerged to make a significant contribution to their professions and to scholarship. Carefully planned and run the early buildings reflect this. On becoming co-residential the traditions so well established remained yet were added to. Quality and care stand with scholarship as features.
I stayed in this college for a few years during my university studies and it has improved significantly over the years. The college itself is a mixture of traditional (from the older wings) and more modern architecture (from the newer wings). It has an ideal location, situated slightly further away from the university's sports field than most other residences but not too far from the university itself to make walking to lectures inconvenient. Has a good studying environment and facilities that further improved over successive renovations. Also has very friendly and helpful staff.
I stayed in University College in 1981-83 when the college had about 130 residents. It was a great place to meet other students and form life long friendships. University College is much bigger now with ensuites in the new rooms and an upgraded library but is still only a ten minute walk to the main campus of Melbourne University.
Formerly I was a member of the College's residential academic staff. During that time I became aware of the College's paramount aim of concern for the welfare of individual students while encouraging all students to achieve their very best. A friendly collegial atmosphere prevailed and humanitarian qualities of respect and courtesy were promoted. Now, as a visiting former Governor, I am happy to say that University College remains true to these imperatives and values.
