I love this place! Their food tastes pretty authentic and I think it is run by an elderly Japanese couple as they were the ones that served us. The ramen is always amazing no matter which flavour you pick and their bento box too! We will definitely go back again to try the other dishes

Enjoyed it a lot. One of the best ramen I've tried. Only thing I'll ask them next time is the broth to be very hot, especially if it'll be winter. Was ok when arrived, but became just warm in 5 minutes.

A long-awaited meal at Ikkairo Ramen in Underwood after multiple visits to the 8 Street branch. Is the ramen better here as some people say? No idea, cos we had bentos! Our order: * tonkatsu bento * honey soy karaage bento All bentos are 12.50, and come with one of five main protein options, plus sides of takana, fried gyoza, salad, mayo noodle, and tartar sauce (or tonkatsu sauce for the tonkatsu bento). There are also 3 curry bento options at 13.50 which I'll probably try another time. The bento options are only available at this branch, so I've been keen to try them out. Overall I think they're pretty decent value and a good portion size (we shared the two bentos amongst 2 adults and 1 child). I found the main proteins to be pretty solid and all the accompanying elements pleasing to my palate. Would be happy to order again, though next time I will aim to order ramen.

My new favourite ramen! The tonkotsu broth was so light yet so flavourful. I really enjoyed the texture of the thicker ramen noodles as well. Service was polite and the outdoor dining area was really cute. Definitely returning soon!

Soups’ temperature weren’t hot enough. Dumpling were just like water-boiling. Overall tasty not bad anyway.

Having been to many ramen restaurants in Brisbane, and with ramen being amongst our favourite food, we can honestly say that this is the best ramen in town. Everything is done right. The soup is deliciously rich yet not overpowering. The pork is tender with just the right proportion of fat. And unlike some other ramen shops the noodles come with a bit of mushrooms and veges. Each bowl is very reasonbly priced around 15. And don't forget to try the juicy karaage!

Tasty and delicious ramen! Their signature is the prawn broth ramen which really brings up the prawn taste. Tonkotsu ramen is also nice. Friendly and nice staff. Good spacious place. Good for parent with little kids.
