I used to use these guys for years before going to live in the UK and have used them a few of times over the last 18 months since I have been back. Very different cars, old and new, and they've been great with both. Since I have been back I have had a service, a slow puncture that turned out to be a very different and much bigger problem that was a major safety issue and they caught it, and today a coolant leak. They offer good advice too, and in an industry that can have a less than brilliant reputation these guys deserve the best. They just made a suggestion that should save me hundreds of dollars. Their honesty means someone like me, who never writes reviews, is here writing one, and I doubt I will ever look for another garage. They're great to deal with too. I don't give 5 stars lightly. Thanks guys.

Absolutely incompetent. Took my car in for a repair. The guys said it was close enough to the 60,000km service that they may as well do that while they had it and I agreed. Not only did they not repair the problem (which the next guy I took it to fixed for half the price and in half the time), they did not complete the full service and they failed to fill out the car's log book correctly, so now the service needs to be fully redone. The guys there also spoke to me in a really condescending way, probably because I'm a young woman. Have only ever had good experiences with Ultratune when I lived in Newcastle - this Newtown/Enmore franchise is a disgrace to Ultratune's good rep. DO NOT GO HERE.

The guys at Ultra Tune Newtown are absolutely sensational. I have been taking my 2005 Audi A4 there for several years now and each time I have received great advice at an unbeatable price. My car recently suffered a major electrical and computer problem after a lot of heavy rain. The guys pulled the car apart to investigate the problem, they diagnosed that water had entered the car and had ruined the 3,000 computer and 10,000 of wiring. They put the car back together for me without charging me a cent and recommended that I approach my insurer with a water damage claim, I would not have thought to do this but the guys were spot on. My insurer paid my claim in full. Ultra Tune Newtown saved me almost 20,000 [with labour costs]. I am now the proud owner of a new car, naturally I will be taking it to Ultra Tune Newtown for all its mechanical needs. I highly recommend this business as they will do the right thing by you rather than confusing you with mechanical jargon and slapping you with a hefty bill.
