I pre-booked the free tickets online. Entry was a breeze and the exhibitions were quite interesting. There's not a lot of exhibitions to see when I was there but still worth going. They also have a nice shop and cafe.

Nice collection of valuable things to the human history. The motor section gives nice insights about the introduction of different kind of motor vehicles into the mankind. The steam section provides lovely visuals of the introduction of steam into people's life and how it transformed the things forever. The machines section is really fascinating with collection of the beginning of computer to the telephones and various other important inventions. At the entrance itself, the guitar section fulfills the aesthetic hunger.
Really enjoyed the powerhouse museum today. Heaps of things to look at from what was shopping like in the old days, transport, guitar museum, including even a cinema! Didn’t cost me anything to get in today. Covid safe - although I didn’t book in advance and was able to get in, best if you booked online.
The staff member at the entrance made me laugh so much, he managed to crack 3 good jokes in response to what I was saying within a minute chat. The museum is nice, and there's often many great collections. The museums layout is very non-linear, it's hard to ensure that you've seen the whole thing due to the sort of maze like style. Some suggested walking guides may help to ensure a thorough visit.
A wonderful collection of culture, design and technology advancements. The Maton exhibition speaks volumes of Australian music history. While the design products showcase the best ideas of the state.
Fabulous. Similar to New York's high line only better. The Frank Gehry architecture sublime. Well done Sydney.
A beautiful and useful museum, many interesting information. My child likes this museum so much
Free entry. But really, they exhibits are so blend as in they have a bit of everything. Things I enjoyed were the medical devices, and the “old” computers. When you see iPad iPhone iMac in the exhibition, you’ll feel old. Some kids wouldn’t know what they are. The guitar exhibit is pretty impressive. Overall, you don’t need much time here to walk through everything. It’s a 3 star only because it’s a bit too dry and boring.
